Honeymoon

We went to Hatteras, NC in the Outer Banks for our honeymoon. As you can tell, we're pretty crappy at remembering to take pictures of ourselves. Oops!

Cape Hatteras Lighthouse

This was one scary thing to climb. Its 248 winding steps straight up to the top with a few landings. I didn't think I was going to be able to do it because I have a really strange fear of steps that don't have backs.

But we finally made it to the top. It was a bit windy as you can tell. We didn't hang out there too long because there were lots of wasps, but the next picture is the view from the top.

You're not supposed to feed these turtles, but really, how can you pass up feeding turtles that eat Apple Jacks? As Tom learned, they like Apple Jacks but not Fruit Loops. Keep this in mind if you ever find it necessary to illegally feed the turtles in Hatteras.
